Mikko Timonen is a Brooklyn-based cinematographer. For more than two decades, his work has taken him around the world shooting global campaigns, music videos and long-form projects, working with artists including Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys, 50Cent and Maluma and brands such as Nike, Adidas, Hennessy, Budweiser and Honda.

He is drawn to work with a strong point of view, whether meticulously constructed or found in the moment. His approach is curious, collaborative and he loves finding the visual grammar that best serves each project. When production realities shift, he looks for solutions that keep the work moving without losing sight of what matters creatively.
